How we got here
2019
One Bay starts as a digital consulting practice for New Zealand businesses.
2023
We begin building Archie with Hertz in New Zealand and Australia, with early systems at Christchurch, Brisbane and Sydney airports.
2024
One Bay refines the core automation behind the Archie system, continuing the rollout at key sites across Australia.
2025
One Bay Australia Pty Ltd is set up to serve Australian clients locally. First fully outdoor systems deployed in New Zealand and Australia.
2026
One Bay scales deployments across Australia, with deployments in NSW, QLD, WA, SA and TAS.
Who you deal with
Jono Hoskin, Managing Director and Founder
Jono is the business and technical leader behind every Archie system, and closely oversees every deployment.
He has more than 25 years in technology across telecommunications, travel, SaaS, retail, transport and managed services, in IT and software leadership, architecture and engineering roles in Australia and New Zealand. He was previously in an SLT-level role in a fast-growing NZ tech success story.
Before software and IT, Jono worked in electrical engineering and industrial automation, and he remains a licensed New Zealand electrician. That mix of full-stack software, cloud and hands-on hardware is what Archie is built on: he is as at home on the tools as in the code behind it all.
Installation is delivered through a proven network of installation partners across Australia and New Zealand, so we can deploy quickly wherever you operate.
